| ASME International recognizes the achievements of individual mechanical engineers through the Honors & Awards program. This program provides for recognition at the national, regional, and section levels within ASME. The national awards tend to recognize outstanding contributions within the different disciplines of mechanical engineering. Recipients of national awards do not necessarily need to be ASME members. Regional and sectional awards tend to recognize the contributions of individuals to ASME and to engineering schools. In addition to awards, scholarships are often awarded by the individual sections to promising mechanical engineering students. |
